Why Are Women Tone Policing at Work?
These are my interns. Kate works for Work Like A Girl and Christina works for Food52. Kate’s a rising senior* in college and Christina has one more year on her MBA. I guess I should say she’s a rising MBA.
*Is it me or do you feel so dorky saying “rising?” I feel like it’s a gag way of saying she’s a senior. The coddling inclusion of Education vocabulary is an art form but that’s a different substack.
I like them. They’re smart. Christina has one of those rare abilities to be nice and earnest and work her ass off. I like that kind of woman.
